How thick should a stone countertop be?
If the kitchen cabinet doors have handles, the worktop must extend at least 1-2 cm over the front edge. The most common thickness of a stone worktop is 30 mm, but thicknesses such as 40 and 20 mm are also used.
How is a stone worktop installed?
Stone slabs always need to be handled on edge because they are very fragile before they are in place.
